Something new!

The first picture is my first frame. Arney spent the morning working with me, and I did this just a few hours ago.
I wish the pictures were better but the glass keeps catching the light. But I am sure you get the idea. I did it!
Yesterday while looking around one of our little shopes, I found this cabinet for my bathroom...I haven't put anything in it yet as you can see, but I hung my new project.
I think you might get bored with these, since I am sure this will take over my life for awhile.
I only have one slightly burned finger, I think that was pretty good, I know it will be the first of many. I burn myself almost every time I use my glue gun and we won't talk about how many years I have been using it. So tonight I take a deep breath and clean up my mess.....so I can do it all again tomorrow....I saw your eyes cross!

The Stuff!

Getting it all together has been very interesting....I will be going tomorrow to get the copper tape. I couldn't find it anywhere, so came home and got out the ole phone book and just started calling. I found a place called Rainbow glass, she was really nice, has just what I need.
I can hardly wait to get started. I know it will not be easy, but thats okay. I got lead free solder. Arney found it at Lowe's for me.
Oh yes, Arney has applied for lead in his department. It has narrowed down from 20 people to 3 and he is one of the 3. So we will see. It's like a horse race, only one can win...YIKES!
For some reason the past couple of days have been hard when it comes to my staying away from the (BAD) food...I must be nerves or something...I keep saying to myself...get it right!

something for a Saturday afternnon

The idea was from Norah's...to take a picture from the news paper and also a napkin and make a picture to draw...I decided just to collage. I thought this would be really fun to cover one of my boxes sometime. I used a picture of a Trolley before since it has been in our news. We are trying to bring it back to our valley since we need to stop drinking so much gas. Any-way, it was fun to find stuff. Also the soldering iron is for crafts. I want to make tiny little picture frames. All aboard! The napkin is the little houses on the bottom. It was a summer theme.

What did you get?

While some of you were getting flowers, Candy, maybe a special dinner or dinning out for Valentines day...I got a sodering iron....Don't get me wrong, this is what I really wanted. It just started sounding funnier as Arney and I talked to the point of good old laughter which is worth a million. It is really sunny and nice here today. I am by myself since Arney works till ten tonight. I can get in alot of trouble while he is gone....chic flic, not doing anything that would be exhausting like cleaning.
