Good-morning

The snow is melting...it's to be in the 40's today. Now it will get gray and ugly until spring comes. Of course it could snow again. Although I have had some bad day's where I have ate too much...it's hard to teach a old chic new things. I have lost a total of 8 pounds. When I think of that as very little....I think of what a pound of butter looks like and then smile...it is better than adding on as I have been. I have so many idea's running around in my head...trying to settle on one thing and get going. I love making the collage boxes, and I will make some for the Church sale in fall. I have a desire to make picture jewlery. I have seen some and want to try it, we will see. Have a great Monday!

Our Barn

Snow is falling...this is our old barn. The wood that we had stacked under the tarp is almost gone. We may have to get more...if the temp drops to much.
I almost fell at lunch today...there is about 3 inches of ice in the parking lot of the Broadmore Country club Cafe' I hung onto the car, I would have been so upset to be found on the ground. So I gathered myself together and off I went.....very slowly. We all were bundled up, everyone looked like a strip club as we begain to take off all our winter coats and scarfs, gloves, so on. Everyone had pink cheeks and cold hands. I had a wonderful chicken soup and salad....I was a very good girl, I left half the soup and part of the salad.

With the Sun this morning came?

I was so glad to see the sun this morning and blue sky in every direction. And along with the sparkle of the white snow againist the bright sun came.....Artful Blogging delievered by UPS since I ordered it from Barnes and Noble....I didn't even have to open it to be excited, I knew Janet was in that package. I am taking it to lunch with me Friday, I am such a show off! You would think I was in the magazine. I am smiling Janet...this is good stuff.
For those of us that dream....keep on creating, we never know what adventure is ahead of us.
Sometimes it is just in the doing that gives us great joy, or knowing that someone we care about is enjoying the moment....it is all good. Happy Blogging
